Machine type is the first price driver: collar-type VFFS machines (single-head, cup or auger metering) sit at the lower end; flow-wrap horizontal machines for bars and cakes sit mid-range; multi-head weigher systems for accurate, high-speed snack packing sit at the top because of the load cells, servo bucket gates, and combination-weighing control electronics involved.
